Urgent specimens.
Please submit urgent biopsy samples by 3.30pm (Monday – Friday) to ensure the shortest possible turnaround time.
Routine histopathology specimens.
All specimens are reported as soon as possible. Specimens requiring more complex investigation (e.g. large block processing, decalcification or referrals) may increase the time taken to report the specimen.
Please note: Unless otherwise requested, specimens will be discarded 4 weeks after reporting.
