Please note that only BROWN topped samples can be centrifuged in the centrifuges that are located at the practices.
This is because the brown top samples contain a gel, which separates the serum from the red blood cells, whereas all other sample types do not.

At this time may we also remind you that green topped (citrate) samples should ideally be sent on the same day as venepuncture.
