Most Jehovah’s Witnesses, and individuals with other beliefs, will not accept the transfusion of blood or its derivatives. This includes FFP, packed cells, white blood cells and platelets. Absolute rules do not exist for example, individual Witnesses may accept certain blood components, (e.g. albumin, immunoglobulins, clotting factor concentrates), on an personal choice basis.
